Heinz Meier’s 2016 sketch of Half Dome captures the grandeur of Yosemite with simple, confident lines. Heinz visited Yosemite many times throughout his life, including this trip with his wife, Ruth. Earlier journeys were family trips with their sons, Thomas and Philip, who created MeierZ to preserve and share their father’s artwork.
Printed on quality matte paper and presented with a smooth white mat board and semi-hardwood alder frame, this piece carries both the beauty of Yosemite and a part of the Meier family story.
