by Heinz Meier
Heinz’ drawing of the Golden Rock pagoda, from his 2013 trip to Myanmar with his wife Ruth.
Heinz traveled in the South of France many times throughout his life, and returned to the Pont du Gard monument near Nimes, France several times. This print of Heinz' sketch of the Pont du Gard, drawn in 2004, is framed with a white mat.
Traveling to the East Coast in 1998, Heinz drew this intricate sketch of the Mayflower II, a reproduction of the original ship, on display in Plymouth Harbor.
Enliven your room with the vibrant flavor of Italy: these classic Gondola boats are used as transport in Venice. Unfortunately the original of this drawing was lost in the Los Angeles January 2025 Fires, but we were able to capture this digital copy from one of the many Christmas cards that Heinz had printed across the years.
This framed drawing of the Chaumont sur Loire castle in France is the perfect reminder of Heinz’ tagline: “Castles of your Dreams.” Hang this beautiful drawing on your wall to remind yourself that your home, too, is your castle. Drawn in 2017, during the most recent of Heinz’ many trips to the Castles of the Loire River Valley.
Heinz' drawing of Half Dome in Yosemite uses simple lines to capture the majesty of nature. This framed print comes with a smooth, white mat board. It’s printed on a quality matte paper and framed with a semi-hardwood alder frame.
Heinz made this drawing in 2016, on one of many trips to Yosemite throughout his life. This particular trip was taken with his wife Ruth. But in earlier years, Heinz visited Yosemite many times on family trips with their sons Thomas and Philip, who have built this website to leave a legacy of their father's artwork.
Bring the ancient architecture of Bhutan to life on your walls with this drawing that Heinz made on a trip taken in 2005. This is one of a few times that Heinz traveled outside of the European countries with which he was more familiar. The Punakha Dzong is a palace that serves as both an administrative center and home to Buddhist monks.
Join in the relaxing and friendly island culture of Greece with this beautiful line drawing of a picturesque hill town on the island of Santorini. Heinz drew this in 2002, on one of three trips that he and his wife Ruth took to Greece. "Island hopping" to Santorini and other islands is one of their favorite memories of traveling in Greece.
